This post is simply for me. A reminder that at sometime around 1AM on this day, I created my first traditionally hand-drawn cartoon.
Seriously, before I was a musician or anything people do or don’t consider me to be now, I was just a kid that wanted to make cartoons for Disney and Pixar.
To create my own animation has been a dream of mine since I was literally a child.
I’m secretly jubilant right now, and just wanted to share this with you all and myself… But mainly, just selfishly for me, as a reminder that there are still things such as this that make me feel like I’m 5 again, laying in my mom’s living floor watching The Rocketeer and coloring in a Garfield coloring book.
I’m so glad I decided to start drawing again, as lame as this all may sound, it just really makes me happy.
