Any word you have to hunt for in a thesaurus is the wrong word. There are no exceptions to this rule.

(What a great quote. I’ve never understood why someone writing a song, poem, or book for the reason of art or storytelling would want to interrupt the natural flow of creativity and their own thoughts and emotions by using a thesaurus.)
