Excuse my harsh language…

but I just found out Proposition 8 was upheld by the California Supreme Court.
I don’t really have much to put into this thought other than, FUCK PROPOSITION 8. I can’t believe this shit is still happening in the country I live in. It’s the most hypocritical nonsense I’ve ever witnessed. I mean, really, is it that hard to recognize equal rights?

By the way, I just found a photo of the idiotic bastards that voted 6-1 to keep the proposition… you can see the photo @ 030409-ca-supreme-court.jpg. Please take notice that every single one of them is an out-of-date stingy old asshole stuck in the days when they could still get away with making people of different color sit in a different section of the bus. And only one of these people in the photo is smiling. I’d be willing to bet a large amount of money that the man smiling is the only one that voted against this, all the others are too pissed that their own lives are stuck in the past to even remember what a smile is.

Seriously, people, it’s 2009! Grow up and realize that there are people that don’t believe in the same things as you. Just because someone doesn’t have the same skin color as you, isn’t attracted to the same gender as you, didn’t come from the same part of this earth as you, doesn’t mean that they are evil. Seriously, when the fuck is everyone going to realize we’re ALL human beings. Equal rights for fuck’s sake, equal fucking rights.

(By the way, this is coming directly from me, a straight individual… and I’m mad as hell about all of this, so I can’t even begin to imagine how furious those of you in the gay community are. I apologize for the actions of the people in our country that are still living in the past, please understand that there are many many people that do NOT agree with ignorant acts like Proposition 8.)
