P.S.
I’m trying to decide if I think it’s a coincidence that all this great stuff is happening literally the first day I’ve woke up in California in years. (I’ve been wanting to live here for quite a while.)
I think it’s a sign I belong here (and it takes a LOT for me to think something is a “sign” these days.)
Things are happening. Getting the feeling I had when my other music project, Backseat Goodbye, started to take off years ago. Feels AMAZING.
Seriously, haven’t had this feeling in years.

mpfitz asked: Are you going to stop recording under Backseat Goodbye forever? Just wondering! I've been a fan for a long time and can't wait to get your new EP as soon as I get paid! Congratulations on the new release! I hope it does very well!

My debut EP for this new solo music under my real name just hit iTunes about 40 minutes ago and it’s already hit #109 on the Singer/Songwriter charts. I’ve been excited/nervous about this being my first non Backseat Goodbye release… Currently so fucking happy to see it being accepted into the world in such an awesome way.

Here’s a little something I wrote for us “lonely ones” on Valentine’s Day:
My dear friends,
You’ve found yourself alone on this day… But it’s not so bad. Maybe you’re like me, scared of commitment, and waiting for the right time to settle down again (when your career will allow). Maybe you’re trying too hard to find love, or maybe not hard...

My New EP (explained.)
Thought I’d share some insight to what the songs on my debut EP, Fools In Love, are about/sound like:
1 | Wizards This is a love song, plain and simple. A lot of people have been asking, so I’ll just say, the title has to do with a lyric in the bridge. I wrote the original version of this song a little over two years ago. Back then it was called “Cheer Up” and it was...
"Lately, I've been fucking crazy."
Do you ever hear an album for the first time and feel like you can breathe again?
That’s happening right now with the Fun album preview.
I feel okay again. I didn’t even know I didn’t feel okay.
Goddamn, I love this band.
(If you love good lyrics as much as I do, PLEASE listen to this album. The first track alone has already changed my life and I’ve only heard it...
Seriously. Human race. You make me fucking sad. All I see are people talking shit about every little thing on the Grammys. You’re all why I wanted to fucking kill myself in high-school. Are you all that mad at your own lives, to where you constantly have to be degrading, pessimistic ghouls in regards to the world around you? If you turned your useless anger into positivity, maybe our planet...

P.S.
Don’t worry folks, that last post WAS serious… But it’s main point was to be funny.
My thought process throughout posting it: How can I be passive-aggressive, yet still funny?… Hmm. Make fun of myself? Nah. Make fun of YouTube? Nah. Write a post to the future version of myself from the past version of myself!? YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!
*types out post* Hahahahaha. I want to write...
Dear Future Chad,
Stop doing Adele covers. The YouTube community gets wayyyy too fucking butt-hurt when you do, because you don’t cover her songs the exact same way every single other person does.
Love, Past Chad
octopiforlunch asked: Are you excited for the Spiderman movie reboot with Andrew Garfield? :)
